Latrell Mitchell has shaken off uncertainty about his future to deliver one of the most dominant individual performances in recent memory in the Sydney Roosters' 42‑12 thrashing of the Wests Tigers.

All week, Mitchell was dogged by headlines that the club was worried about arch rivals the Rabbitohs going all out for his signature when he came off contract at the end of 2020.

If he was fazed by the speculation, he didn't show it as he ran in three tries and set up another two in the seven‑tries‑to‑one win last night.

Mitchell showcased his skill, power, kicking prowess as well as scoring two long‑range tries, finishing with 169 run metres and a 26‑point haul.

In other NRL matches, the Raiders defeated the Panthers 30-12 while the Sea Eagles beat the Bulldogs 18-10.

In today’s matches, the Warriors take on the Knights at 4pm while the Eels meet the Dragons at 6.05pm.
