Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s captain, Paula Dranisinukula says they have identified the weaknesses in the Fiji team that the USA 7s team has been taking advantage of.
Dranisinukula says that the ultimate plan for the national side is to overthrow USA in the early stages of the playoffs in the London 7s and secure the lead in the current series.
He adds they have identified weaknesses in the USA team and that is they cannot cope with Fiji’s offload game and also cannot challenge Fiji if Fiji starts scoring in the first half.
USA is currently leading the HSBC 7s series with 145 points while Fiji is in second with 142 points.
Fiji is pooled with Samoa, France and Kenya for the London 7s which will be held from the 25th to the 27th of this month.
