With just one day to go for the last tournament of the HSBC World  Sevens Series, Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Captain, Paula Dranisinukula says they will fight for the number one spot in the  Paris 7s.

Dranisinukula says that it will be an enjoyable weekend for them on the field but also for the spectators in Paris.

As the season draws to a close the race for the series title is more fierce than ever with only two points separating Fiji and USA in first and second position.

USA Captain Madison Hughes says it has been a good season and the job is to finish it off.

Hughes says they know that Fiji is a fantastic team and it is going to be a tough test so they are just going to do everything they can to end on a high note and give themselves the best possible chance of success.

Fiji needs to finish ahead of USA in Paris this weekend to claim their fourth HSBC World Sevens 7s title.

Fiji will take on England in their first pool match at 10.50pm tomorrow, they will take on Argentina at 2.16am this Sunday and take on Ireland at 5.42am in their last pool match.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 9.28pm this Sunday, Cup semifinals will start at 1.23am Monday and the Cup final will be played at 4.33am Monday.

Barring any upsets, Fiji is likely to meet Scotland or France in the quarter final, they are likely to take on USA or South Africa in the semifinal, and New Zealand or Australia in the final.
