The trial of a man who allegedly raped his stepdaughter will take place in July in the Lautoka High Court.
He is charged with two counts of rape and one count of attempted rape.
The defence has requested if the translator present in court could be fluent in the Nadroga dialect.
Judge, Justice Daniel Goundar has told the accused that if he fails to appear for the trial, the trial will continue in his absence.
His bail has been extended.
