As SODELPA gets ready to have it’s General Assembly in Yaroi, Savusavu today, Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka says he will be available to lead the party to the 2022 general elections if SODELPA wants him to lead.
In an earlier interview with FijiVillage, Rabuka made it clear that he had resigned but will continue as party leader because the SODELPA constitution states that the leader is elected two years prior to the next general elections.
Rabuka says SODELPA has enough material for party leadership and there has been some dissent about his selection and leadership.
He says he will be 72 years old next year however he will be ready if the party wants him to lead SODELPA to the 2022 polls.
Rabuka also says that they are dealing with the differences within SODELPA as their main objective is to win the next general elections.
