He says that this is not the case but they just wanted to treat the members of the Burebasaga and Kubuna confederacies in the chiefly manner.
Ratu Naiqama says that nothing done in Savusavu today is done for him, and he does not get anything from it as his only pride and treasure is the people and the vanua.
He says that it was not easy to take the AGM to Savusavu.
Ratu Naiqama says that whichever party member that has been chosen to lead should lead.
Ratu Naiqama says that the party should not have any sort of sickness as well.
He says that the party should work with the church and the vanua.
Ratu Naiqama says living standards and education levels have improved but as individuals, the iTaukei do not own anything because everything belongs to the mataqali and the vanua.
He also reminded the members that there is no more Great Council of Chiefs, and the Bose Vakoro is headed by the Turaga Ni Koro while the Bose Ni Yasana or the Provincial Council Meetings is headed by the Chairman.
