The Fiji Bati Men's 9s Rugby League team to the Pacific Games with staff of Vodafone Fiji today planted 2000 mangrove seedlings as part of their contribution to the government's 4 Million Trees in 4 Years Initiative.

Fiji Bati Men's 9s Rugby League team manager, Tevita Korosaya says this is part of their community work.

Korosaya says climate change is an increasing issue that is happening throughout the Pacific, and taking part in this initiative is a good start to tackling this issue.

Vodafone Fiji Sponsorship Manager, Adriu Vakalala says this is part of their contribution to the fight against climate change.

Vakalala says this will not be their last planting initiative because climate change has been affecting us personally.
