President, Jioji Konrote has urged the Fiji Netball team to respect their opponents and be thankful and humble in victory.

While speaking to the team while they were presenting their iTatau, Konrote encouraged them to perform their utmost best as they will be playing with some of the best in the world.

He told the team as they are the youngest team to take part in the World Cup for Fiji, the team should try to learn as much as they can.

Konrote says these women are going to be future sports and it is important for them to respect their opponents.

The Fiji Pearls will take on Jamaica in their first pool match, they will then take on South Africa on Sunday and will play their final pool match against Trinadad and Tobago on the 15th of this month.
