Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Ashneel Sudhakar has confirmed they are looking for a piece of land for the Fiji Pensioners Association.
President of the Fiji Pensioners Association, Hari Raj Naicker says they took a proposal to the government to ask for a small piece of land in Suva so they can build a centre where retired pensioners could go and freshen their minds.
Naicker says loneliness is a very deadly disease and since the retiring age has gone down to 55 years, senior citizens need a centre to mingle around and are not left out in society.
