All students from Years 5 to 13 will now have a special curriculum after the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption today launched the first ever National Anti-Corruption Curriculum.

While officiating at the event, Attorney General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum reiterated that there is always a need to have a holistic approach to help address and combat corruption related issues.

Sayed-Khaiyum says the initiative taken by FICAC and the Ministry of Education is commendable.

He says this curriculum will also inculcate the culture of saying no to corruption.

FICAC Acting Deputy Commissioner Rashmi Aslam says they hope this will create a generation immune to the lure of corruption.

The National Anti-Corruption Curriculum will be incorporated into the English and Social Studies subjects for Primary schools and  for Secondary schools it will be implemented within the English, Social Science, History and Accounting subjects.

The National Anti-Corruption Curriculum will be implemented next year.
