Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach John McKee is expected to drop one of the six props in the Rugby World Cup team by Friday.

McKee says the final 31 member squad will be announced before they leave this Friday, but there will also be standby players included, to cater for any injuries.

The six props who have been competing for a spot in the final 31 include Campese Ma’afu, Eroni Mawi, Peni Ravai, Ley-Roy Atalifo, Manasa Saulo and Kalivati Tawake.

He says all six props have put in the hard yards, but selection will be on a few keys areas such as fitness and how well players know their roles on the field.

The team will gather in Nadi today to resume their training and will also have their farewell dinner tonight.

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay.

Fiji will take on Australia in their first game at 4.45pm on the 21st of this month.
