A 34-year-old man who allegedly murdered his 34-year-old wife in Walu Bay last Saturday has had his case transferred to the Suva High Court for mention.

He appeared before Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa in the last hour.

Luke Nasetava has been remanded in custody.

Magistrate Boseiwaqa says his bail will be decided in the High Court.

It is alleged Nasetava stabbed his wife at the headquarters of a multinational company in Walu Bay at 4.40pm Saturday.

According to initial information gathered by Police, the woman was stabbed after allegedly refusing to talk to the husband.

The case will be called on the 17th of this month.
