Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Centre Semi Radradra has met with Canterbury representatives to discuss a possible return to the NRL in 2021.

Canterbury Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill has confirmed the meeting with Radradra who is contracted to French rugby club Bordeaux until the end of 2020.

Hill says there was an opportunity offered to them to meet with Radradra while he is in Australia and let him know that would be interested in taking him should he wish to come back to the NRL.

Radradra spent five years in the NRL where he scored 82 tries in 94 games for the Parramatta Eels.

Radradra is in the Flying Fijians 31-man Rugby World Cup squad.

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay for the Rugby World Cup.

Fiji will take on Australia in their first game at 4.45pm on the 21st of this month.
