A 29-year-old man will be produced in the Tavua Magistrates Court today after he allegedly assaulted his 29-year-old wife over a Facebook message on Sunday.
The report was lodged at the Vatukoula Police Station.
Police say the woman had sustained injuries and is now admitted in the Tavua Hospital.
The husband has been charged with a count of assault.
