The body of a 60-year-old farmer of Korovuto in Ba was discovered this morning after he disappeared last night while trying to put out a fire.
Police say the victim was last seen heading out towards his cane farm to try and put out a fire that had allegedly spread from a nearby farm.
They say when he failed to return, Ba Police were alerted and conducted a search throughout the night till this morning where he was found after 7am and had sustained severe burns.
Investigations continue.
