This is the message from the President of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji, Sarju Prasad as people celebrate Diwali today.
He adds Fiji will be a country that other countries will learn from if everyone is united and live in peace and harmony.
Prasad says people shouldn't even be having racially-biased thoughts adding as long as people are racially biased, Fijians will continue to be divided as a people.
He says the Government of today also focuses on unity among all Fijians.
Prasad says it is a beautiful message when people of other religions celebrate Diwali as it means they are extending their hand in friendship.
