Players like Semi Radradra and Semi Kunatani have expressed their desire to play for Fiji in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Fiji Airways Fiji Men's National 7s coach Gareth Baber says it is one thing to be available from a player's perspective and there is another being available from a contractual perspective.
Baber says the challenge for players like Semi Radradra would be how much time they spend with the team during the series.
The national 7s team is currently preparing to defend their Oceania 7s title.
The Oceania 7s will begin next Thursday at the ANZ Stadium.
