A 26-year-old man from Ra accused of stabbing his 39-year-old partner at an apartment complex in Suva earlier this month was produced in the Suva Magistrates Court this morning.

Kennol Narayan allegedly stabbed his partner during a drinking party after a heated exchange.

He is charged with act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Narayan remains in custody.

The matter will be called again tomorrow.
