Police have recovered the body of a 30-year-old man from Nasautoka in Wainibuka who was reported missing.

Police say the man went fishing with his nephew in the Nabouva River in Wainibuka yesterday when he was allegedly swept away by strong currents.

His body was recovered with the help of a team from the Police Special Response Unit.
