South Africa's Blitzboks Coach Neil Powell says their start to the series was much better than last season and apart from the two line-outs they messed up in the Cape Town final they had a good tournament.
Powell says he could not fault the effort of his players and felt that was a result of the work they put in during a longer than usual pre-season.
South Africa's captain Siviwe Soyizwapi says it was clear from the two tournaments played so far that the margins for error in finals were tighter than ever.
Soyizwapi says two finals in the two tournaments is just a reward for the effort the players put in.
South Africa are joint top with New Zealand with 41 points.
