A 36-year-old man charged with one count each of abduction and defilement has had his bail extended by the Suva Magistrate Joseph Daurewa.

The alleged incident occurred in Labasa on 23rd June, 2010.

It is alleged that the two were in a relationship at the time of the alleged incident when the victim was 15 years old.

The case will be called for mention on the 6th of next month.
