30-year-old Jone Paul charged with the cultivation of illicit drugs has been further remanded in custody.

It is alleged that between August and October 2017, 166 plants of marijuana were uprooted after a raid on a farm in Nayau, Lau.

The total weight of the plants was 30.97 kilograms.

The case will be called again for mention on the 21st of this month.
