Former Lelean Memorial School student, Nasoni Tulavu has been included in the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s extended training squad for the upcoming Hamilton and Sydney 7s.

The 24-year-old is currently employed with the National Fire Authority of Fiji.

He has been playing for the NFA 7s team for 4 years.
Tulavu was given the Best Player award in last year’s Nadroga 7s final where the NFA 7s team defeated Tabadamu to qualify for this month’s McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s.
He has been playing rugby since attending Lelean Memorial School.
He plays in the halfback and play-maker positions and will also be part of the NFA 7s team that will take part in next week’s Coral Coast 7s.
Tulavu also plays for the Fire Wardens in the Escort Shield competition.
Another new player that has been included in the training squad is Jiuta Wainiqolo.
Fiji is pooled with Argentina, Australia and Samoa in the Hamilton 7s which will be held on the 25th and 26th of this month.
The Sydney 7s will be held on the 1st and 2nd of February.
