A 28-year-old man who allegedly murdered 22-year-old Hashneel Sharma in Natokowaqa, Lautoka last Sunday appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court this afternoon.
Josaia Vukivuki who is from Natokowaqa has been remanded in custody.
The case has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court which will be called next Friday.
Vukivuki is charged with a count of murder.
Police say that four men were taken into custody last Thursday but the other three were questioned and released.
Sharma’s body was found at the back of an old service station.
