The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team will need to give a much improved performance in their pool matches of the Sydney 7s if they are to qualify for the semifinal.
Fiji is pooled with Series leaders, New Zealand, Kenya and Wales.
Meanwhile, Pool B has South Africa, France, Argentina and Samoa while Australia, USA, Scotland and Japan are in Pool C.
Pool D consists of England, Canada, Ireland and Spain.
Fiji started day one of Hamilton 7s with a win over Samoa and Australia but on day two, silly mistakes cost them the match against Argentina.
Coach, Gareth Baber says they will be evaluating their performances this week and will try to improve in the Sydney 7s.
The Sydney 7s will be played this Saturday and Sunday.
