Man to appear in Nadi Magistrates Court today for allegedly raping 5-year-old granddaughter

A man in his 50s will appear in the Nadi Magistrates Court today for allegedly raping his 5-year-old granddaughter.

The incident allegedly happened earlier this week at the girl’s home and the matter was reported by the girl’s mother.

The man has been charged with one count of rape.
