Police say they will further investigate a fatal road accident which has claimed the life of a 43-year-old man.
It is alleged that the motorbike the man was travelling on collided with a vehicle near the traffic lights at the junction of Grantham and Laucala Bay Road last Wednesday.
The man passed away in the CWM Hospital on Wednesday night, a week after the accident.
Police had earlier said that it is alleged the driver of the vehicle made a right turn at the junction when it was red light and in the process hit the victim who was on his way to the ANZ Stadium.
The driver of the vehicle was initially charged and released on bail.
