A huge demand and aging facility is the reason for residents in Nadi and Lautoka undergoing water rationing for the next three weeks.
Principal Water Supply information Officer, Iliesa Sokia said there is a huge leakage, stressing that this is their last resort to ration water for the next three weeks.

So far, the PWD workers have just managed to clear the site along the main Vaturu to Nagadro water Depot line that is leaking and work is expected to start tomorrow morning.
The rationing which happens during non-peak hours, will see residents in certain areas without water supply from 9am to 3pm every day until repair works are completed in the next three weeks.
