Fiji born Isoa Damudamu who is in the British Army has retained his place in the 12-man England Sevens squad for the IRB World Sevens Series in Wellington and Las Vegas next month.

Damudamu has been a consistent member of coach Ben Ryan's team.

He joins a settled squad which includes the George tournament's top try scorer Christian Wade and Sevens rugby's all-time leading points scorer Ben Gollings.

England will face USA, Tonga and Kenya on day one in New Zealand, where they will be defending the New Zealand International Sevens title.

Currently Ryan's side lies third in the IRB standings behind New Zealand and Fiji respectively after reaching the semifinals in Dubai and overcoming hosts South Africa to win the Plate final in George last month.
