Sugar supply in most of the supermarkets is yet to be normalised as sugar is still rationed to consumers.
Fijivillage contacted a number of major supermarkets today who say they still do not have enough sugar and have no information on when supply will be normal in the market.
These supermarkets are only selling 2kg or 4kg packs of sugar per customer.
Meanwhile, Permamant Secretary for Sugar, Manasa Vaniqi said he will only comment after speaking to the Fiji Sugar Corporation as he was assured earlier that sugar supply has normalized.
FSC CEO, Deo Saran could not be reached for comments.
