A 22 year old man charged with the alleged murder of a 42 year old man appeared in the Nadi Magistrate court this morning.
The 22 year old appeared before Magistrate Sahu Khan and the plea has been deferred as the case has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court.
It is alleged that he stabbed the 42 year old to death and a post mortem conducted on the victim revealed that he died of severe blood loss due to multiple stab wounds he sustained on his head and abdomen.
He was reported missing from home on Saturday and his body was found on Monday in a field in Nawaka Nadi by relatives. The case has been adjourned till the 29th of this month.
