Two women charged with aiding an escaped prisoner this morning have been released on bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.
The two, aged 24 and 25 years by the name of Seruwaia Bena and Seruwaia Cikila of Qauia Village in Lami are alleged to have harbored Sanaila Tabulevu who had escaped from the Valelevu and Nasinu court last month.
Magistrate Kaweendra Nanayakarra gave them a $2,000 bail on the condition that they report twice daily to the nearest Police Post and not interfere with witnesses.
They are expected to appear in Court again on the 27th of next month.
