The National Futsal Captain has praised his players performance against Tahiti last night where Fiji won 2-0 in the OFC Futsal Championship.
Kamal Hassan said winning against a team like Tahiti was vital as they wanted to start the tournament on a high note.
Fiji is on bye today and plays against Tuvalu tomorrow.
In the matches today, Vanuatu plays New Caledonia at 4.30pm, Tuvalu takes on Tahiti at 6.30pm and Solomon's play New Zealand at 8.30pm.
The OFC Futsal Championship is being played at the Vodafone Arena.
