Police have laid charges against a bus driver who was involved in a fatal road accident in Korovou on Saturday night.

The 28 year old driver was charged this afternoon after the post mortem.

He faces one count of causing death by Dangerous Driving and will appear in the Nausori Magistrates court tomorrow morning.

The accident took place when the 23 year old woman was crossing the road.

She died instantly.
