The current head and Deputy Director of Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption, Lt Colonel George Langman will soon return to the military camp as he is needed to supervise major engineering projects to be undertaken by the RFMF.
Speaking to Fijivillage News from China, Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama confirmed that Lt Colonel Langman is needed to head the Engineering Squadron as the military will soon undertake a number of rural development projects.
Commodore Bainimarama also said people need to understand that the military officers seconded to the different ministries and departments are posted to do their job, set things up and go back to the military camp, and allow others to take up the responsibilities.
Commodore Bainimarama also confirmed that about 5 million dollars worth of machinery is expected to be received from China as part of a grant and this would be used in rural development projects by the Engineering Squadron led by Lt Colonel Langman.
