Labasa defeated Lautoka 3-0 at Churchill Park to increase their lead in the National soccer league competition.
The Northerners now have a 5 point lead with 18 points while Lautoka lies on second spot with 13 points.
The visitors were on fire from the first whistle and scored their first goal through Kushaal Naicker after a blunder by Blues goalkeeper Jone Sarolo.
The Reds led 1-0 till the breather.
The Babasiga Lions came back strongly in the second half and scored two more goals by Maciu Daunadamu and Taniela Waqa.
Labasa, without their star U20 reps, had more scoring chances but failed to find the net as the score remained 3-0 till the final whistle.
In the other match, Nadi defeated savusavu 2-0.
Labasa will face Tavua on Sunday at Garvey Park at 3pm while Savusavu will play Suva at the TFL Stadium.
