Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said that the contribution of wives and mothers of Military officials is often unseen as they are always in the background carrying out their daily tasks and activities silently.
While opening the RFMF wives and mothers club netball tournament this morning, Commodore Bainimarama paid tribute to the wives and mothers for their support and dedication to the military institution.
Commodore Bainimarama says the two day tournament will be an opportunity for men to cook, clean and look after the family so that the wives and mothers can enjoy themselves and get to know one another better.
Commodore Bainimarama also advised the RFMF wives and mothers to make use of the sporting tournament and renew their friendship and relationship ties with one another.
The sporting tournament is expected to end on Sunday with a thanksgiving church service.
