A woman is in hospital after she was hit by a bus on a zebra crossing this afternoon.
Eyewitnesses said the bus was turning from Victoria Parade into Gordon Street sharply and at high speed before impact.
In addition witnesses say the ambulance did not arrive at the scene until after 30 minutes.
Walking behind the woman returning from school was a boy who was narrowly missed.
Police have questioned the driver and investigations are continuing.
