Police have ruled out foul play in relation to the discovery of a 57 year old man's body in his Grantham road home earlier this afternoon.

Director Operations SSP Rusiate Tudravu said they believe that the man fell from the stairs as they have found injuries on the back of his head.

He added that the door of the house was locked from inside and there were no signs that someone forcefully entered the house.

The self employed man was living alone in his house as his three children are in Australia and last week his wife also went away to visit their children.

The neighbors last saw him last night.

Tudravu said the post mortem will be conducted later.
