About 60 passengers in Labasa are counting their lucky stars after they successfully escaped from a burning bus this morning.
According to police, at around 9.30 the driver of the bus saw the rear right tyre on fire and stopped the bus near FSC.
The passengers got off and the driver brought some water and with assistance of a fire extinguisher, the fire was put out.
