Without much financial assistance, looking after more than 700 people is not an easy task.
President of Spinal Injuries Association Fiji Joshko Wakaniyasi is requesting the government and the private sector to come forward to assist their association.
He said during a fundraising program last year in December, they managed to only collect a little more than $1,000.
Since December, the association has recently received a donation of $5,000 from Sun Insurance.
