New Zealand Provincial Sevens champion Auckland Invitational suffered their second loss in the first day of the Uprising Fiji International Sevens after they lost to URF Wardens 19-5.
They earlier lost to Courts Ratu Filise by 15-0.
This is the second victory of the URF Wardens team as they beat the FMF Fiji Warriors in their first game by 27-14.
A major upset that was created this afternoon was when the Digicel Fiji Barbarians featuring Setefano Cakau, Livai Ikanikoda, Osea Kolinisau and Metuisela Talebula lost to the LICI Police by 24-19.
Police has the likes of Etonia Naba, Peni Gaunimeke and Sakenasa Aca.
The Jim Beam Uprising team coached by Renee Munch created another major upset when they beat Samoa Invitational by 19-7.
The Samoa Invitational side features Mikaele Pesamino and other Samoan reps like Leslie Poulava and Simaika Mikaele.
