The British High Commission has given more than $57,000 to UNICEF to help the education sector to recover from the devastating effects of the March flooding.
Acting High Commissioner Martin Fidler said the assistance is the Commission's immediate response to the State of Natural Disaster declared by the government.
UNICEF will work in partnership with some organizations in providing assistance to the students, teachers and schools in the flood affected areas.
