A post mortem has been conducted on the foetus that was discovered in Nabua on Monday, yet police in a statement confirmed the cause of death will not be released.
The foetus however has been confirmed to be about 26-28 weeks old.
Members of the public are also being requested to come forward with any information they may have that can help locate the mother.
