More than a thousand applications have been received by Save the Children Fiji for educational assistance.
CEO Chandra Shekar said they have received application from the west, north and central divisions and they will start distributing the assistance from next Monday to two thousand needy students.
He said this will also include students affected by the tropical cyclone.
The assistance will include a full year stationary pack and school bags.
