Nine teams may play in the National Soccer League for this season as Tavua is on the verge of facing relegation.
Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel confirmed they will take the bold step tomorrow if Tavua officials are unable to run the team.
Patel added all the Super Premier teams were notified with the fixtures beforehand and they will not entertain any excuses now.
In the opening round of the National Soccer League this weekend, Tavua is scheduled to play Rewa on Saturday.
