The first honey harvest in Dreketi and Seaqaqa is expected to start in September this year.
The Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development and National Disaster Management officer's Integrated Human Resource Development Program Manager, Aslam Khan said the training for the 16 villagers from each centre is still underway and is progressing well.
Khan said that apart from men, youths and women group are also provided with part time employment opportunities.
He added that the villagers have completed the training in honey extraction last month, however they will be provided further training till April.
Khan highlighted that both centres are provided with 160 beehive boxes each together with the tools, and monitoring equipment to ensure safe and successful completion of training program.
The cost of the project is $120,000.
