An accident occurred at around 1pm today which caused a major traffic jam along Waimanu Road.

It was believed that one of the drivers veered off the road and hit the other vehicle and landed in front of the Korean House.

Both drivers escaped injuries and both vehicles were partly damaged.

Police investigations continue.
