A 65‑year‑old man who allegedly raped his 11‑year‑old granddaughter in Nausori last year reappeared in the Suva High Court today.

The court has given the man some time to go through the agreed facts which has been prepared in the i-Taukei language.

The accused has waived his right to counsel and has also pleaded guilty to one count of rape.

The alleged incident happened in August last year.

The matter has been adjourned to the 25th of this month.
