England coach Eddie Jones is not amused with Dylan Hartley after the Rotorua‑born England captain was red carded and banned for six weeks for a dangerous swinging arm on Irish back‑rower, Sean O'Brien.

Jones says that Hartley has let himself down along with his club and country.

Hartley was sent off six minutes after coming on as replacement for Northampton against Leinster in the European Champions Cup on December 9, with the Irish club winning 37‑10.

He says that Dylan will be more disappointed than anyone about what has happened and he has got to cop the penalty because the World Rugby directive on protecting the head is 100 per cent right.

Jones adds that Hartley is not guaranteed to captain England in the Six Nations in 2017.
